Who We Are

Yaseen Qureshi

Intern

Yaseen Qureshi is a second-year undergraduate at the University of Chicago double majoring in Economics and Middle Eastern Studies, with a specialization in Arabic. Yaseen is a Chicago native, having grown up in downtown Chicago and Hyde Park. His research and career interests span several topics including developmental economics, public finance, international trade, and Middle Eastern political relations. Outside of the classroom, Yaseen is an executive board member for the Muslim Students Association and the Society for International Relations, as well as a student ambassador for the Institute of Politics. He also tutors cello through the South Side Free Music Program, and previously worked as a Program Coordinator for the Honeycomb Project in Lincoln Park.
