Congratulations to Bookwallah on celebrating the one year anniversary of the Library of Journeys! This month last year, Bookwallah created India’s 1st storyteller shipping container library. This unique and innovative library has been able to share the gift of imagination with children across Pune, India. Despite the pandemic, Bookwallah’s Library of Journeys has still been active and hosted virtual storytelling sessions for the communities they serve. This Library of Journey has helped to heal, empower and transform the lives of children so that they can believe and rebuild their lives.
Bookwallah transforms rooms within orphanages and schools into safe havens where children who have undergone trauma feel safe, happy, and inspired. Great stories truly transcend all borders!
